Na zijn zege zaterdag was het gisteren opnieuw bingo voor de Noor Søren Wærenskjold. In het Limburgse Dilsen ging gij opnieuw solo naar de zege en opnieuw was de top 3 hier voor Noorwegen. Beste Belg werd Tijl Decker op plaats 8.
"I went in an early breakaway with one other rider. Five riders came up after some laps. We worked together well, and the peloton did not seem to catch us. In the two last laps I tried to go solo, but one other rider followed me. Then with one km to go on the last lap, I managed to get rid of him. Then I could cross the finishline alone"
