Jules Gilliam heeft de spurt van 3 gewonnen in het Brabantse Hoeleden tegen zijn landgenoot Bjorn Larson, welke tweede werd en Yann Pestiaux welke derde werd. De 3 een voorsprong van 30 seconden op de nummer 4.
"After many attacks in the beginning of the race, a break of two eventually got a gap of around 30 seconds. A few attempts later I broke away with another rider and we bridged up to the break. The 4 of us then worked smoothly until 1 lap to go. We attacked each other on the fast backside of the course and dropped the weakest rider. Coming into 2 km to go the now 3 of us were still together, and even though we kept attacking each other no rider could gain a gap over the other 2. I was 2nd wheel with 500 meters to go, the rider in front of me jumped at 400 meters to go, and I came around him with 200 meters to go, snatching the win.": tell Jules.
