Jules Gilliam solo naar de tweede zege in België

In Mazenzele-Opwijk ging gisteren de zege naar de Amerikaan Jules Gilliam. Het is zijn tweede zege al in ons land.

"I attacked the pack around 3km in, breaking away with another rider. We quickly got to and held a 30 second gap for 4 laps. Then, a chase group of 10 or so bridged up to us from the pack. Our large breakaway group worked well together, increasing our gap further, until the last two laps in which cat and mouse attacks began to unfold. I covered some the stronger riders' attacks, but kept some mojo for the end. With 2k to go I attacked on the hill, powered away from the group on the false flat, and stuck it to the line, finishing solo for the win.": Jules.
