In Zoutleeuw werd er afgelopen zondag gestart met 95 juniores. De Noor Andreas Leknessund won de sprint met 3. De Belg Lukas van Nunen werd knap 2e in de eindspurt.
"At the first 3 rounds i struggeled, and could not find a way to enter the front of the peloton. I was not able to see when a breakaway with 8 riders got away. At the most they had over 1 minute, but on the 4 lap my team mate and i decided to decrease the gap. We got some help from some other riders, and at round 6 we caught the breakaway. It did not happen much, except for some small failed breakaway attempts. Until it remained 3kilometres. At first i was entering the front to have a good position at the end, so i could give my team mate haakon aalrust a lead out in the sprint. But the peloton slowed down and i saw my opportunity to go.": tell Andreas.
