Scott Mcgill wint zijn eerste wedstrijd op Belgische bodem

De Amerikaan Scott Mcgill won gisteren in Zottegem-Strijpen zijn eerste wedstrijd op Belgische bodem. Het is zijn tweede seizoenszege voor de tweedejaars junior. Scott blijft met zijn team tot midden augustus in ons land.

"I felt strong from the start and knew that the course suited me very well so I went with every break I could and the other riders in the break were very strong as well. After we knew we were going to stay away I attacked with around 1 km to go and was able to stay in front for the finish.": tell Scott.
