Nieuwe zege voor Amerikaan Eric Voigt in Woubrechtegem

De Americaan Eric Voigt heeft zijn derde zege op Belgische bodem op zijn palmares staan.

"Throughout the race, I kept trying to attack and get in a break, but all the riders were watching me so nothing I was trying worked. With 3 to go, I got in a 2 man break that lasted for 1 lap before we were brought back. Once back in the pack, I waited to see what everyone was doing, and it looked as though the riders were going to wait foe the sprint, so I attacked on the down hill and got a gap. I was able to build a lead of about 20 seconds, but when I crossed, it was dwindled down to only 5 seconds.": Eric.
