Theo Modell heeft een mooi verblijf in België achter de rug afgelopen weekend. De Brit won afgelopen weekend de wedstrijden in Zandvoorde (zaterdag) en Veldegem (zondag). Telkens slaagde de nieuweling erin om er solo vandoor te gaan. Hieronder de 2 wedstrijdverslagen van afgelopen weekend.
9th April 2016:
I started quite far back with a pretty big field, but managed to make my way to the front. I felt good after the first prime so attacked and took around 4 others with me. Three of us managed to open up the gap as the race split up behind us. We worked quite well until we were caught just before two laps to go by five chasers. I recovered a bit and felt quite good, so attacked hard up the climb just before the bell lap and went flat out managing to hold off the seven riders to take the win by around twenty seconds.
10th April 2016:
I started the race mid-bunch and made my way to the front within the first lap. After a couple of laps I managed to get off the front with another British rider. We stayed away for four laps before getting caught. Another attack went two laps later, I followed it then rode away from the other rider. I managed to hold off the chasing group and the bunch for another five laps to take the win around one minute ahead.
