Het dubbel weekend van de Britt Ethan Hayter in België is niet onopgemerkt voorbij gegaan. Na zijn zege gisteren en vorig weekend Kuurne -Brussel-Kuurne was het vandaag opnieuw bingo in De Klijte. Opnieuw reed hij solo naar de zege. Ethan keer nu terug naar de UK maar komt terug in het weekend van 20 maart.
"It was a good race and the wind had a big impact. Lots of dangerous attacks went early on and I put in a big effort to bridge at one stage. Another group ended up catching us and we had a group of around 15/20. Two riders attacked and shortly after I attacked and made sure no one was able to follow. I got across and we worked together well. I attacked solo to the line with 6k to go and won by a good gap. I am very happy to take my 3rd win on the road this year from 3 races.
