Deniss Trofimovs van Latvia was vandaag de grote overwinnaar in Jesseren. In een spurt met 2 was hij de sterkste.
"Today in Jesseren the weather wasnt that good , it all started with rain in the start line First lap was pretty easy with a couple attacks but action started at 2nd lap when guy from Davo Cycling team attacked at the climb. I decided to go and i went away from pelaton with my teammate Sven on the wheel. When we cached the first guy from Davo there was another guy behind us and then we worked toghether next 6 laps. 2 laps to go guy from LEOPOLDSBURG's team attacked at the climb and guy from Davo cycling team got dropped. Last km of the race guy from LEOPOLDSBURG I tried to go away and he came in as first at the last corner and started his sprint too early i jumped off from his wheel and finished as 1st. I'm pretty happy for this win because it was my first race after a 2 weeks break without racing and i'm not in my best shape."
